Finance Manager (Contract – Option to Go Permanent)

We’re on the lookout for a capable and motivated Finance Manager to join our Perth-based boutique fine jewellery house on a 6-month contract with the option to transition to a permanent role. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director and play an integral role in maintaining our financial health as we continue to grow. The Role
In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and ensure our compliance and reporting remain top-tier. With flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, this position offers both autonomy and meaningful contribution.

End-to-end accounts management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and handling routine transactions.

Reporting & Compliance: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, ensuring alignment with business needs. Assist with BAS, IAS, PAYG, and superannuation compliance. Collaborate with our external accountant for EOFY reporting and tax filings.

Cashflow & Payments: Manage cashflow, pay all accounts, and move funds between accounts to maintain smooth financial operations.

Payroll & HR Support: Process payroll and assist with HR administration to ensure seamless operational functioning.

Financial Administration: Maintain up-to-date records, manage financial systems, and ensure financial systems and processes run smoothly using industry-standard accounting software.

Operational Support: Provide operational support to streamline processes, reduce financial risk, and ensure accurate financial management within the business.
What We’re Looking For

Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Financial Services.

Solid understanding of Australian taxation and compliance (GST, BAS, PAYG, Superannuation).

Strong experience in payroll, HR documentation, and financial reporting.

Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Discretion and maturity to manage confidential HR and payroll information.

Proficiency in English and confidence using financial software and Excel.

A proactive, team-minded individual who thrives in a flexible, remote environment.
