Mother To Be. The She is collection began with the idea of celebrating the journey of becoming a Mother. Being a ‘Mother-to-be’ myself, I wanted to create a piece of jewellery to remind other women of just how beautiful, precious, and important our pregnancy journey is. It can be hard, it can be a lot to take on, and for some, it may be something you’ve waited for for a very long time. The ‘Mother-to-be’ pendant was created to celebrate this new journey and to be worn each day as a reminder of how beautiful you are throughout this whole experience.
Materials
14k Vermeil Gold
Each piece is made with a base metal of Solid 925 Sterling Silver, then gold-plated with 14k yellow gold Vermeil. Vermeil is the most traditional form of gold-plating. This technique has stood the test of time since first used by French artisans in the 1700’s. For gold-tone jewellery this is the best quality you can get, besides solid gold. It is far more durable than other gold-plated jewellery and if cared for properly, can last for years.
